Student looking for summer work in Barcelona. Do you have any advice?

Hi,

I'm from student (film%26amp;tv) from Toronto, Canada and I'm traveling to Barcelona this summer to work and hopefully improve my Spanish. Spanish is my first language but I don't practise it at home as much as I should and while I can still understand it perfectly, I can not speak it fluently. I have a place to stay free of cost, so I'm not necessarily looking for a full time job. What would you suggest I look for (kitchen work, grocery store, etc?) and how would you go about looking for it (internet, in person/resume?)

I would love to hear from people who have experience looking for work there. Thanks in advance.

Daniel,

I have something that will change your life! No harsh physical work for little pay. All I do is share information with people about their goals and ask if they or anyone they know have health issues. You don't have to worry about anything, the company ships product to your contact. This is great for both Canada and Spain because it has only been out for two years, so you are in on a fantastic ground-floor opportunity! This is my site- www.myvemma.com/jimkranos my number is on my site, so please call with your questions. Wouldn't it be great if you met a few good people (both in Canada and Spain), who know a lot of people. You would have a wonderful residual income from your travels, for the rest of your life. I am in central Illinois, this is really taking off here, because it works. We even have Dr.s and Chiro's on board, financial, real-estate, store owners, etc. This can't be sold retail, its word of mouth. All you have to do is get your parents on autoship for at least a one pack and get a ten pack to get friends and family on in Canada, and your set. No other fees. You get a free website and lots of info and help. Check this out, The woman who bought this to our area went from 200 a month to 64 thousand last month! And all she did was get 26 people to try this- they told everyone and it balooned to 18,000 in just two years! Well, I hope you are the leader type, and have ambition to succeed. Take care and call or write me- e-mail is on my site. JimStudent looking for summer work in Barcelona. Do you have any advice?
You'll probably have the most fun waiting tables, if you can get that kind of job. You can try searching stuff in the Internet, but you might be better off just scouting places once you get there and asking if they're hiring.
Ask everybody.
