not all at the same time, or consecutively!!!!
use the retin-a as prescribed. use the sunscreen next (an ideal solution would be a moisturizing sunscreen)...
make sure you're exfoliated and moisturized, then do the self tanner. i'd suggest using the self tanner in the evenings, after the retin-a, but no sunscreen, then the moisturizer then the self tanner. How to layer skin-care treatments...do you have any advice?
FYI- If you use retin A over your self tanner it will bleach the color out of your skin on the spots that you use it. And definitely use the spf OVER your retin A. Any moisturizer with SPF acts as a sheild for the skin and will protect it from free radicals and harmful substances, in this case, your Retin A. In other words, it will make it hard for the Retin A to penetrate into the skin.
1. self tanner
2. moisturizer
3. sunscreen
4. makeup
Because self tanner reacts with your skin to cause it to look tan, putting anything ele of first would block it. You would want to exfoliate before using self tanner but the retin-A does that. I actually use the self tanner at night just let it dry before applying anything else or going to bed.
