http://www.futureaccountant.com/What advice would you give to someone thinking about suicide? What is the number one cause of teen depression?
Dont do it if you are a religious person get closer to God and ask for some help, you might also want to go see a phycoligist. Also tell your parent or parents your situation. By the way I can relate I am also a teen. I believe the top teen depresion cause would be a death from a close friend or boyfriend or a major breakup. What advice would you give to someone thinking about suicide? What is the number one cause of teen depression?
GET HELP NOW.
Depression can be caused by a chemical imbalance or it can be caused by overwhelming negative thoughts triggered by bad situations. Either way, it is imperative to get help from mental health professionals now.
Suicide is not a way out of our problems, it is a cop out, a cowards way out. Since the depression is caused by our minds, our brain can make an excellent case for suicide, but that is the one time not to listen to yourself. With professional help, you can be up and running in no time, back to a much more normal life.
I would suggest just to keep talking to them and tell them all the things- it'll pass, they have a lot to live for, etc etc, even if they don't seem to hear you or turn down everything you say you get them through the rough patch for when they start to feel better.
Example:
';Things'll look brighter in the morning!';
';No, no they won't I wake up every morning miserable';
Dooon't get discouraged! They're saying this but just keep talking to them about it and telling them that stuff...
In our life we all make a great number of mistakes. After we did something wrong, we have the possibility to learn from it and correct it. Nothing in life is so dramatic that it forces you to make a mistake which can not be corrected. Yest think, is there any problem worst than being death, I don't think so.
A teenager is really frail and only a bad mark is enough to make them thinking about suicide! Talk him and explain him how life is amazing!
Prozac.
turn to someone for help. School councellor, principal, nurse, doctor, parents, etc.
Any type of attention you can give to a depressed teen is a good thing. If you try to bring up the topic with them, it provides an opening to talk.
I believe the biggest cause of teen depression is issues with family. I think it is also hereditary.
THEY HAVE SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR...THEY ARE LEAVING BEHIND THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM...SIT DOWN AND JUST HAVE A HEART TO HEART..WHATEVER THE PROBLEM MAY BE IT CAN BE SOLVED..I DON'T KNOW THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF TEEN DEPRESSION-PEER PRESSURE MAYBE...FEEL LIKE THEY DON'T FIT IN MAYBE???
I would tell them to talk to ANYONE they feel comfortable confiding in. A teacher, counselor, priest, minister, parent, sibling, school mate, etc. Remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. There are suicide hot lines, web sites and several other ways to cope with your problems. 1-800-suicide (1-800-784-2433) www.SuicideHotlines.com. You can e-mail me, I'm no professional, but I have teenagers, maybe I can help. Someone out there cares for you more than you know, so don't do it! I don't know the number one cause, I would boyfriend/girlfriend, or parent trouble.
just think about what your doing is it worth your life and if i was you i would go try and get some help from someone. I think you need to talk to someone. dont do it nothing is worth your life and if you need someone to talk to e mail me. i can help i have thought about that stuff a lot.

What advice do you wish someone would have told you back when you were in high school?
This is what I would tell them: I love My lord and savior JESUS CHRIST.
Come and surrender to Jesus Christ, I want to save your soul from the fires of hell.
Beg for forgiveness, and choose love over fear.
Remember this: Once acquired, this precious life with liberty and opportunity
Has the characteristics of instantaneity, impermanence, and decay.
The three realms are deceptive and illusory in nature.
Though beautified by the wealth of its four continents,
Our earthly environment is impermanent and exhibits decay.
Even this body should be recognized as a ball of foam,
Like those of all these beings now on earth.
In a hundred years, they will certainly not be,
Since everything born eventually dies.
Just as your own life span will come to an end,
In places like markets, crossroads, guest houses,
All these crowds of diverse beings will be scattered.
Contemplate the certainty from the heart that your relations
And the resources of your amassed possessions,
Like a city deserted, will come to nothing.
Since whatever wealth one has amassed
Is impermanent and without essence, you should be detached;
You ascend to the wealthy cities of paradise,
Even as you go beyond death and fall into miserable lives.
Be sure that pride in this life or wealth grants no equanimity,
Since one is separated in time from things outer and inner.
Since impermanence and death are certain,
Give up on the delusion of permanence.
Subatomic matter endures momentarily,
Being impermanent as a flash of lightning,
So you should realize ultimate truth just as quickly.
The variety of habitats and life-forms is transient,
Essenceless as an illusion of a banana tree,
Therefore this life-cycle is called impermanent,
And clinging to one's self or work is not acceptable.
Habitats and beings are made of four elements, subject to decay.
Embodied beings vanish like transient settlements.
Since compounds are everywhere, nothing at all is permanent.
Nothing in life is certain but that death is never partial.
So one must contemplate from the heart death's certainty.
Since, at the time when death comes, home and possessions,
Friends, the company of celebrated experts, and so forth
Are no company at all, you must realize ultimate truth.
One's perception of markets, riverbanks, miraculous trees,
Thunderheads, the movements of living beings, moon and sun,
Impermanent and transient, will likewise suddenly cease.
At the time of death, your best friends are your stores of virtue;
So rely on the ultimate, and strive to realize its essential meaning.
On the path of analysis, one must be ever mindful of death.
Measure your practice by watching the compounded decay.
With effort, abandon the fears and activities of this life,
Not resting in the ordinary even an instant.
Develop a renunciative, repentant mind of few diversions,
For the benefits and virtues of such a mind are infinite.
Eliminate worldly faults and naturally gather virtues.
Free from the permanence habit, stop enmity and kinship, desire and hate,
Be diligent in virtue, and know this life as deceptive.
Fully gather both stores, and the gods will see you as glorious,
You will ascend to the heavens, achieve lifetimes of bliss,
And quickly earn the state of enjoying the elixir of immortalityWhat advice do you wish someone would have told you back when you were in high school?

Don't grow up!What advice do you have for your inner child?
dont be sad, i know what you went through and it turns out kinda ok,What advice do you have for your inner child?
The operative word is 'your'. For my inner child, I would advise to see, learn, and forgive.
Never die. :)
Don't ';play with yourself!!!';
I've tried, he doesn't take my advice.
Change for the better because you have to move on my child.
Stop taking everything so seriously, especially yourself. Learn to laugh at yourself the way you laugh at the rest of the overly serious people. Party on, Dudette.
Philosophical question?
My inner child grew up, so what do I say to my adult self?
One of the only times I feel like a child is when I put my hair up in pigtails and everybody calls me Pippi [Longstocking] and I feel young at heart again.
Thanx for all the fun and silly memories of mine. i know i haven't let you out lately but i promise i will sometime soon.
Pick up your damn toys.

no advice for the inner child in me, i want to spoil her. i want to listen to her tantrums, i want to pamper and flatter her. Even for a moment if she listens to my advice, i have a little fear, that she won't be a child anymore....

What advice would you give to someone who wishes to start a small business? What would this person need to do ?
Advice: Work hard.
Use this basic checklist to make sure all the important steps are taken before you launch your new venture. This business checklist will make sure that you cross all your t's and dot all your i's before your business launch.

Goodluck! What advice would you give to someone who wishes to start a small business? What would this person need to do ?
Here are some tips I learned the hard way:
1) Thge most important advice I ever got was, ';The purpose of a business is to support your household, not the other way around.'; Your business needs to make a profit. When I first started, I thought I needed fancy business cards, lots of office supplies, a big phone plan, etc. I didn't really need any of that. Some of it could wait until later. Some I never really needed at all. Don't spend money until you have money to spend-- and then spend it wisely.
2) Unless you're in a business like tires or plumbing where people look in the yellow pages, don't waste your money advertising in the yellow pages. For most of us in small service businesses, word of mouth is the best advertising-- and it's free!
3) Reputation is everything. Do your best to make every client happy. Even if you don't want to work with them anymore, work out a compromise, then move on.
4) In the beginning, I had to take on anyone as a client because I needed the business. Now, I have enough business that I get to pick and choose my clients. I don't work with crazy people.
5) If you're selling a product, marketing is everything. Be sure you have the stomach and skills for marketing before you go into business.
6) If you're in a service business, marketing is everything-- but you're selling yourself instead of a product. Show up when you say you will, be ethical, polite, and reasonable, and remember that the client is always right (even when they're wrong).
7) Don't ever let them know when you're desperate for work-- they can smell it on you.
8) Have fun. If you're not having fun, you might as well get a corporate job! What advice would you give to someone who wishes to start a small business? What would this person need to do ?
first, remeber where theres a will theres a way!
seq ,be honest, dont forget the advertising, and if you product somthing or do services or activities do it with the best quality as you can!

As an older woman returning to work , what advice can you give me for a good interview?
I just went thru this in december. First, think about all your good qualities, including transferable skills. Keep these in mind as you're talking.
Second, don't focus on your age or returning to work, but rather your maturity and the desire for a stable position in a company where you can use the skills you've gained over the years.
Dress for success (this is good advice at any age)
Be prompt (also necessary for ANY interview)
Trust yourself. Don't look for ';any job'; but look for the ';right job'; that you know will let you shine.
Good luck!As an older woman returning to work , what advice can you give me for a good interview?
have confidance in u and be honest in replies. GOD will helpAs an older woman returning to work , what advice can you give me for a good interview?
Don't talk about jobs that you didn't like or the people stay on a positive note about all the jobs you had. Don't focus on your age and how long you have been out of work. You want them to see and know you haven't lost all your skills just need a refreshing course.
my boss told me he hired me cause at the interview we had i looked alive, like i was active and waitng to always do something. i was nervous but wasnt showing it and he felt i had alot of confidence and i was ready to go. try doing that, even if you dont have much experiance show you can learn fast
short skirt and stockings!
Be honest
Play up your strengths, especially your willingness/ability to adapt to changes in the workplace. Often times older workers are automatically perceived to be unwilling to change or update their skill sets. Also, often they are wrongly assumed to be wary of computers, software and new technology.
Here's some more great advice for those over 40 looking for work:

show some skin!!!
Be clean and neat without any hair flying around.
Wear a suit, with matching skirt, and top and pull your hair up.
Appearance is numero uno and then speech. Speak properly, enunciating correctly and watch it not to say things like ';uh uh, naw, nope, geeze, yah';.
Sit, with hands folded in your lap, and don't use hand gestures.
Give the interviewer prompt answers and be honest. Don't lie, but don't put yourself down either. My brother in-law just gave me a resume to scan for him. Under ';education'; it reads ';did not finish college';, when instead, it should have read ';Some college education';. Get the drift?
Last, but not least, please search for jobs you can achieve and do. Don't search for goals that are higher than what you are capable of doing, because being rebutted or refused are very deflamatory on your self confidence. Nobody likes being told they don't qualify, no matter how well the interview went.
Good luck!
PS- I rated eveyrone, so would you please take time to give my answer your rating? I worked very hard on it. Thanks!

Hey i was just wondering if you have any advice for meWhat advice would you give to a 13 year old girl ?
Get a college education before you start seriously dating! What advice would you give to a 13 year old girl ?
Don't have sex too young, don't hesitate if you need help out with life( I know at times it can get scary so just go on here and be honest and try to get help as best you can, wish I did when I was 11 %26amp; Found this site otherwise I wouldn't be in this mess in my life now 18) DOn't have online relationships(they only brakes your heart, Don't have any srs relationships at all, tell after college I would say. Don't do no drugs, don't let anyone push you around in your life. Fight for what you believe in.
don't stay too much in front of the computer... get out and immerse yourself in an activity... the local scouts, the kazin tal-banda (parhaps learn an instrument?!), go out to outdoor places with family and friends (walks in the country... eg Madliena, Dwejra of Malta, Buskett etc), play football (no, it's not a man's game... it's for us too!) or attend ballet school and stay active. studying is important, but don't insist to go to private lessons of some 12 subjects! you will be just wearied out!
the computer and internet will not offer you the type of socialization which you need. you need to experience people first hand.

if you havent lost your virginity yet dont. Your still a kid and none of the boys that age know enough about women to make the experience really nice for you either physically of emotionally.
Sauces in anything = 10% intelligence + 90% determination
Stay true to yourself.
Obey and respect your parents or guardians.
Who's against obeying your parents?
Use protection!
Don't do anything you would be ashamed for your parents to find out about.
Obey your parents.
Turn 14 on your birthday. Always helped me out.
Stay out of the drama.

What advice can you give to someone trying to open their own Resturant / Bar?
My family is in the restuarant business, for 75+yrs. We have owned, worked at, or managed 30 restuarants. I also tried to open one arrogantly on my own, at 23, and I lost ti before I was 24. Make sure you have enough capital to survive a yr. If you are getting a loan, you need to have the money for the loan. You need money for the estimated taxes, food, payroll, and utilities for 6 month to a yr. You have to be prepared to work 24/7, for a yr. And at least one other empolyee, or partner who will do the same. Get a good accountant. Rent first month to month if you can find it, or 6 month lease. When you get your restuarant going then think about buying a building. You will also need a good cook. If he is really good he might be your partner. Figure out your base foods and what kind of reatuarant you want. Then stick with that theme. In europe I love the restuarants there. they would have only 10-12 items on going, but everyday they would make a different dish. Fish, lamb, roast beef, Veal, Shepards Pie, ect. When it was gone that was it. Good luckWhat advice can you give to someone trying to open their own Resturant / Bar?
RECONSIDER !!!
My two nephews did that years ago. OMG!!! Worked 24/7 and could NEVER find dependable, capable help.
Frankly, I'd rather be a prostitute. At least I could lie down while I work. What advice can you give to someone trying to open their own Resturant / Bar?
DONT. The average life expectancy is well under 2 years. Unless you know something millions of others dont there is very, very little chance of success and profit!
Very risky business. Theft by employees a big problem to. Have enough cash reserve for a one year carry.
be careful.......
Buy an existing one or a franchise

Frankly, I'd rather be a prostitute. At least I could lie down while I work. What advice can you give to someone trying to open their own Resturant / Bar?
DONT. The average life expectancy is well under 2 years. Unless you know something millions of others dont there is very, very little chance of success and profit!
Very risky business. Theft by employees a big problem to. Have enough cash reserve for a one year carry.
be careful.......
Buy an existing one or a franchise
What advice would you give to a substitute teacher who will be taking charge of this class for the week?
Ensure that you have lesson plans from the teacher.
Have back up activities.
Don't send the students out to other classes.
Take attendance at the beginning and end of class.
Take control of the classroom and don't make your tough classes someone else's problem.mascara

What advice whould you give a HS student becoming a sophmore?
This was my last day as a freshman . Do you have any sdvice for turning-sophmores or anything would be nice?..thanks=)What advice whould you give a HS student becoming a sophmore?
1) join as many clubs/sports as you can. trust me on this, you'll meet so many more new people and make a lot of new friends
2) work your butt off. it'll all pay off during senior year when you're trying to get into college. sophomore and junior year is when you gotta work, and senior year is when you just relax and cruise through (after you've been accepted into college) lol that's how i was anyways, i barely did anything my senior yearWhat advice whould you give a HS student becoming a sophmore?
Work hard so you'll have no regrets after high school. Don't waste this time. Make the most of yourself. Seriously...it's hard out there in the real world.
Have fun with your friends and don't pay any mind to idiots. Don't let others make your choices for you with peer pressure. Be the one behind the wheel at all times.
it'll be one of your best years.
work your hardest.
they say it gets harder down the road,
i think it gets easier.
but thats just me.
start preparing yourself for the future if you want to succeed.
Another LONG and boring year of highschool.
Another year of nasty burritos and undercooked pizza.
Junior year gets EVEN better. ;D
Hey I just graduated from being a sophmore!
I will telling you that the boys get more mature!
And you will making many new friends in sophmore year!
Don't let the locker door hit you in the face
Try new things.
And hey pizza doesn't sound bad.
This is only thing i can think of...
don't be as clueless a sophomore as you probably were as a freshman.
love the fact that your not a freshman anymore
Skip a few classes to be kool

What advice would you give students who is do not take their education seriously?
I have a group of seventh and eighth grade students who feel that it is okay if they do not learn how to read or write well. They also asked . . . why do I have to take Spanish, why is Math so important? I have given the students and their parents a ';reality check,'; but it has not seemed to work. What advice would you give students who is do not take their education seriously?
I wouldn't be giving as much attention toward the students but rather the instructors and the parents.
Instructors for passing kids that might not be up to par in basic education such as reading, writing and arithmetic. Passing scores = Looks good for promotions
Parents for not taking an active part in their children's education. We are raising our future... give more support and guidance.
Kids are going to complain reguardless...What advice would you give students who is do not take their education seriously?
they would regret it in the future, when no one takes 'em in a job.
Well they should if they are not prepared to work on a supermarket checkout all day, or pumping gas or flipping burgers for a living. They will get the idea when they get out into the wide world and discover that what they got in their final exams won't get them the job they really want.
take a field trip to any inner city slum and tell them this is their future if they don't do well in school
Ask first what type of job they want have.
Ask if they like getting presents at Christmas and wearing really nice clothes
Then tell them - without maths and any other subject all they will have is a cardboard box and an occasional spot on the pavement
give them examples of the work that someone who doesn;t take their education seriously will end up doing.and then give them examples of work that those that do take their education seriously can do then ask which work they would rather do. my daughters father when i met him we were both 18 and he could not read he knew enough to get around by looking at the shapes of signs ect. but he couldn't even fill out an application. thankfully my daughter and grandson are just the opposite.
Quite simple.
Tell them if they don't learn they will end up with greasy hair, smelling of burgers, and repeatedly saying ';Would you like fries with that';
kick them in there heads well thats what my teacher used to do lol only joking i didnt take my education serusly and now im stuck in a dead end job god i wish i lisned in class

What advice do you have for abortions?
i was the surrogate mother for a newlywed couple that could not conceive a child. the problem is, is that i was impregnated a week before the couple both passed away and i received news that if i do go through natural childbirth i have an increased risk of injury, and even death. im considering having the abortion to save my life, is this acceptable? what would you do?What advice do you have for abortions?
this has to be the most messed up question i have ever seen. you are so selfish
i am 16 years old and i jsut had a baby a month ago, i had the oportunity to get an abortion and i didnt and now i have the most beautiful baby boy you would ever meet, i could nto imagine my life any other way
i can not believe you would ever do this to such a helpless little baby, i wish you could see how much you are not only hurting a poor little baby but yourself also.
how selfish coudl you be to do that to a BABY i dont care if your s surrogate or whatWhat advice do you have for abortions?
ADVICE?
dont have one.
its wrong.
%26amp; i doubt they would let you be a surrogate mother if its dangerous to carry the baby, makes no sense.
give it up for adoption.
the realy parents of this child wouldnt want you to do this to them if they were here.
Considering that you're a man, and therefore have no uterus, I would say that you DEFINITELY have increased risk of injury and death if you continue the pregnancy.
your a guy.nice try.i just read your profile.you might want to make your q%26amp;a private before making a fool of yourself on yahoo.
HE'S A GUY EVERYONE JUST CLICK HIS BOX.HE ANSWERED A QUESTION ABOUT HIS PENIS.EW.TRY IT.YOU'LL SEE.
it's a fake question.
if you are going to make up false scenarios, at least put some thought into it. instead you make yourself sound dumb. but thanks for the points anyway
if all this is true, ie you dont want the baby, and you really may die then it sounds like a good reason to abort
WOW a 2.5'; penis...No wonder you HAVE NO LIFE and just TROLL yahoo answers!

Car advice what do you guys think?
I am 15 but am saving for my first car. I am learning to drive my parents car while i am on my L's then I want to get a car I can put a turbo, intercooler, body kit etc on and professionally do drifting. Has anyone got any ideas of what car I should get? by the way i live in australia and i don't want to import!Car advice what do you guys think?
1st of all u need a banger car to practice on, i would suggest a nissan 240sx a s13 or a s14, its rwd, super light and u can do engine swap or turbo for it laterCar advice what do you guys think?
For your first car forget about all the mods and get a beater. Odds are if you are looking to go drifting right out of the box you're going to wreck your first car.
lol ...
idk what kinda cars you have therre but cavaliers are NICE to pimp out so are hondas.
I'm a Ford bloke myself, but how about a VL Commodore? They're cheap as chips nowdays and you can do what you want with 茅m. Good luck!!
well i want a black hummer but you live in Australia didn't even know they had computers there wow i am dumb
Go green ....get a hybrid like a Prius
Subaru Impreza wrx, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, Pontiac G6 GXP, or Nissan Z. Good Luck.
I don't think 16 year old new drivers should have pimped up turbo cars.Learn to drive a regular car for a few years and discover how much it costs to fix that and maintain.
Just my opinion, drive safe and a cool person is cool in or out of a car.

What advice would you give to Al Davis and His HOF QB Jamarcus Russell?
I would tell Jamarcus Russell to eat Al Davis and free the world of his evilWhat advice would you give to Al Davis and His HOF QB Jamarcus Russell?
Advice to Al not like he would take it from anyone but it would be get rid of this wannabe NFL QB and actually rebuild your team your not going to win this year or the next year but you still have a shot at winning five years from now. Signing Greg Ellis just proves you are not building into the future you are stuck on todayWhat advice would you give to Al Davis and His HOF QB Jamarcus Russell?
I say Al is the worst . No one wants to go there no coach or players . They have no chance to win the superbowl. Also he is so old just retired that old bag. Jamarcus Russell might look bad now but trust me when he gets some talented recievers he will be very good qb.
I would tell Al that its time to step back a bit and relax control. He was a genius in his time but the game has changed and he hasnt kept up with the change. I would tell JaMarcus to just play ball, its time to let it fly
Sell the team and quit eating.
Two words: Retire now.
Keep up the good work.
Keep Tryin
time for both to get out of the league

I just bought a sun conure, any helpful advice you can give me?
What foods do they like best?
Know of any good training techniques?I just bought a sun conure, any helpful advice you can give me?
So, how are you handling the screaming? All the sun conures I have ever heard of scream at dawn and dusk. Can't be trained out of it either, it is instinctive behavior. Any trouble?
I went to school (to be a Vet Tech) that kept one to learn with. You could hear him scream in the parking lot, across the soccer field, over 12 barking dogs that were also there for training purposes.
His name is Mytie. As in Mytie LOUD. He's sweet though.
He loves cheese. The little ';baby bel'; round cheeses in the red wax. Loves it!!
He has pellets in his dish all the time, for when ever he gets hungry. Morning and evening, he gets fruit and vegetables. Fresh or frozen (then thawed) peas, carrots, corn (get the vegetable medley in the freezer section, saves work and they love it), broccoli was another of his faves.
Birds can take a while to learn, so be patient and consistent. Reward the behavior you want and ignore everything else. Offer lots of toys and activities, they are very smart and get bored easy.
On a side note, I just tried ';Poop Off';. It is specially designed for cleaning up after birds and I couldn't be happier with it. I found it for sale at flightsuits.com. Yeah, they sell diaper like things, you might want to look into that too.
Good Luck.I just bought a sun conure, any helpful advice you can give me?
You bought a parrot without knowing those answers already?
Owning a bird like that is a major undertaking and only those who have the good sense to check them out totally then make the decision to buy one or not?
I'm surprised the seller didn't at least tell you all that along with giving you a book on those type of parrots.
Plenty of books in local library or a GOOD pet store.
Get informed now.
the important thing they are very noisy and can upset the neighbours.did you NOT read about them before you purchased.
people ANNOY me that go out and buy a pet but have not a clue how to care for them.
delightful bird altho a little loud sometimes, they like seeds, fruits and vegetables, as far as training, get a good book on conures at your pet shop
They love attention, Play with with and handle him every day, Mine loves the cheap black sunflower seeds, and almost any type of fresh fruit. GL, You bought a wonderful companion.
I have a sun and as you know by now they can be very loud. When mine gets particularly loud - it means she wants her cage cleaned. It may not look that dirty - but she is sensative to smells.
Also, I make sure i handle her for at least 1 hour a day - which is not that much. Usually I take her out several times a day for anywhere from 5 mins to an hour.
I plan on getting her a play gym with perches and ladders -
http://www.angelfire.com/ak4/birds/wstan鈥?/a>
And I do get her wings clipped so she will bond with me and not be too independant. I also have got her beak filed back when it gets too sharp. She is due for a beak filing now. Because they do bite and you don't want them to draw blood - it really can hurt.
Never hit your bird if she does bite you really hard - you could hurt her feelings and she might never trust you again.
Read lots of books and talk to other bird owners.

Chatline operators- can you give me some advice?
I'm thinking of becoming a phone sex chatline operator (its money at the end of the day dont judge!) But do any of them have catches in regards to payment and tax and liability? Are you or have you ever been a phone sex operator? What do you think of it?Chatline operators- can you give me some advice?

can Men be sex operators too????
I had worked as a PSO in 2006 for a company called Tara Consulting. You can check out the site at http://www.nylasnymphos.com/main/include鈥?/a> (this is their job info page).
The pay was excellent, they were legit, paid weekly. I worked on average 25 hours per week and within 30 days was bringing home $200 a week. It worked well for me, I work full time during the day and did this in the evening. They don't take taxes out but issue a 1099 at the end of the year.
There's no trolling with this company, meaning you don't have to go into chat rooms and post your link and do all that stuff. The calls come to you, they transfer them from their 800 line so the callers don't have access to your number.
Pay...averages from $0.50 to $0.99 per minute. My calls ranged from 2 minutes to 15 minutes to 60 minutes. Once I got some regulars, they usually lasted 10-30 minutes.
I know there's a lot of taboo in this line of work, but it pays. I have more to say, but won't say it here. E-mail me if you want to know more.
If you check them out, tell Nyla that Beth J. sent ya! I miss them.

Insect bites, when do you seek medical advice?
I live in the uk and this big black bug took a nibble at me, the top of my foot is hot red and swollen. Anti-histamines aren't working. I don't generally like going to the dr unless it is an emergency. I'd normally leave it but i'm at a wedding on saturday and want to fit in my shoes.
any ideas?Insect bites, when do you seek medical advice?
try putting rubbing achol on it it made mine go away the very next day and if it itches go to a drug store and get some GOLD BOND anti itch cream. hope i helped!!!!! xDInsect bites, when do you seek medical advice?
The site could become infected and could even turn into cellulitis. If your food is still swollen and the selling doesn't go down and/or the site begins oozing then contact your GP.
If it's just red and itchy, take an antihistamine and keep the foot cool.

Jehovahs & Ex Jehovahs, What Was The Worst Advice You Ever Got From An Elder?
Maybe from when you were a kid or perhaps now that you are grown.Jehovahs %26amp; Ex Jehovahs, What Was The Worst Advice You Ever Got From An Elder?
I broke my foot years ago in December, and I remember being told by elders that I should be going in service regardless of the ice and snow that I would have to trudge through on crutches.
I wonder if me me me also knows the number of who left the WBTS today...that number is just as important as the number who joined. I can almost feel the hatred and viciousness in his answer - definitely not very Christian-like.Jehovahs %26amp; Ex Jehovahs, What Was The Worst Advice You Ever Got From An Elder?
I have gotten lots of bad advice from elders in New Mexico and in California. Of course none of the advice I ever got from them was solicited. When I needed advice I would ask my mom and dad or maybe my grandpa.
The worst advice I ever got from an elder was to not get involved in disciplining my step-kids. It led to me being viewed as an outsider to this day. Of course when all the crap with the middle child blew up and he started to nag about me I told him to look at his mom for I was not allowed to participate in his upbringing. So maybe it was not such bad advice? Ya it was, if I had more of a hand in his raising, he may not have turned into such a dope.
';Here take this brochure on Esther and Syntache on how to make peace, and Jehovah will take care of the rest';.
The rest was never taken care of and things got blown out of control and proportion, so we had to go to court and I won; no thanks to the elders. They are really non-functional and a bunch of sapping cowards. After all, this is big business, a corporation. God does not recognize these hypocrites.
Anyway, that's the advice I got from the doughboy elders and then everything fell apart. On top of everything else, I had to go to surgery and did not heal well because of all the stress and chaos caused by the fraudulent and criminal witlessness who were trying to take my home from me.
Verbatim: ';The mental problems you are experiencing might be b/c of something you picked up at the thrift store or a garage sale.';
I remember thinking, 'No, it's more like the overwhelming stress I feel when forced to bug my neighbors and try to convince them they are about to die.' (among other things)
I am a currently a Witness, and honestly I can't think of anything crazy an Elder has told me. They normally just check and see if everything is going alright with me. I'm not bothered by advice people give me, good or bad. I think about it, and choose what's best for myself.
To go back to the Kingdom Hall to be reinstated. Took me a year and a half of witness ';penance'; to get back in only to realize that I had waisted another Year and a half of my life on a cult.
That I don't need mental help and just pray, when I was going through depression and was suicidal.
I would have to say ';pray'; though, because that seems to be their solution to every tiny thing.

Since Olin claims to have been an ';elder'; at one time , the words ';trust me'; comes to mind.

Is there a limit to how much advice you can give?
Anyone I give advice to always tells me that my advice makes a difference to them in a good way. So because of this, I am thinking of starting my own website to give advice to other people that may need it (once I figure out how I am going to advertise it), but I need to know, as I hold no degree in anything such as councelling, psychology etc, is there a limit to how much advice I can give?
What advice can I or can't I give?
p.s. Does anyone know how I can market my idea?Is there a limit to how much advice you can give?
You will need a disclaimer stating that you hold no degrees and therefore any advice given is to be taken at the risk of the enquirer. Is there a limit to how much advice you can give?
As long as you state that you are not a formal psychologist nor a counsellor. You can write as if were suggesting ( Not direct advice) what they should do.
Yes, there is a limit to how much advice you can give, but you shouldn't limit yourself. It does not matter if you hold no degree in anything such as counselling and psychology, etc.. What matters is how the people you advise take them and apply them, and how it has improved their lives. There are pyschologists who are not good in it. More experienced people and those who have undergone so may problems and were able to overcome them, usually gives the best advice out of experience, and of course, the will to help others, not to go through the same mistakes or bad experience they had. It is real good to save people and help them. Go ahead with your idea!
As long as you ensure that it is clear to all who receive advice off of you that it is only your opinion and not through years of studying then I can't see a problem with it. However, be warned, you may get asked things that you really would rather not know about, let alone answer.
To give good advice i wouldnt say you needed a degree unless you were trying to advise someone on things you dont have any knowledge of.. e.g. if someone asks what medicine would be best to use in their condition (assuming you arent a doctor of medicine).
You should give advice on subjects that you know lots about.. so that it will be helpful to the person asking. Apart from that i cant see any other guidelines or restrictions although you should probably tell people that you arent a qualified councellor etc...

I don't think you have to have any qualifications at all. Unfortunately, the Internet is, I think at the moment 'a shark infested sea' with as yet minimal legal controls.
If you want to offer psychotherapy you would be able to get maybe a better client base and insurance if you had joined one of their professional organisations, but if you're selling a 'product' this isn't essential if you're prepared to take the risk/consequences.
I don't think you can give too much advice. If your really not that sure about your advice then tell the persons ';I'm not really sure about this one but maybe...';
Also make sure people know that your not a proffesional and have no training
no i wouldnt think so, as long as the people are coming to you and they are not being pressured into taking your advice then i really dont see how its a problem, as long as yuo dnt give somone advice your not really shore of yourself as this could be harmfull if your not shore what your saying
Its good that you have a natural ability and firm common sense, you also seem to want to help people which is great. Id imagine there must be a degree of responsibility maybe not in a legal way if you state you have no formal qualification but morally, you may come across some extremely difficult situations, problems which are difficult to advise on or even help in any way. It could be helpful if you have contact details of professional people so you are able to refer someone should they need more specialised help. At the least a basic course in counselling may be beneficial before embarking on something like this, you may find you really enjoy doing some formal training in this field and it would better equip you to identify serious concerns and problems that need a lot more help than a website can give and prepeare you for the information that you may come across. I hope it goes well for you.
Your are always limited by the other person ability to go with your advice. I am sure: if you can say your a psychic, you will be able to get away with everything. If you say your a psychologist you will be limited!!!
There is no limit to advice you can give just make sure that you give good sound advice. Make sure that you can be held accountable and liable for the advice that you give because it could come back on you if some thing goes wrong. Because you are advertising your business on line and you have no degrees in this area just be careful because there are people waiting to for lawsuits. I think that sometimes you dont need a degree God gives us talents and we are just good at it. But it would be safe to take a few classes to get certified. I dont have a degree so I use yahoo answers to get my point across and to help those who need help and advice. Just be careful and believe in yourself. You can do it. You sound like a good person who want to help. Read into it more and talk to a lawyer or someone who can help you because any time you advertise a business you are held liable same as if you take your car to the shop and they mess it up than they are liable. Good luck.

What quote/saying or piece of advice do you try to live by?
Never judge another person until you have walked in his shoes. What quote/saying or piece of advice do you try to live by?
There are several that I try to live by.
How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant with the weak and wrong...because sometime in your life you will have been all of these. George Washington Carver

Life is
the only chance you get,
how you live it,
what you take from it,
how much you give back,
a joy and a heartbreak,
doing the best with what you have,
loving with all of your heart,
treating all forms of it with respect,
and a wondrous beautiful mystery

maybe try going off campus to widen ur selection.

What advice would you give to a substitute teacher who will be taking charge of this class for the week?
Ensure that you have lesson plans from the teacher.
Have back up activities.
Don't send the students out to other classes.
Take attendance at the beginning and end of class.
Take control of the classroom and don't make your tough classes someone else's problem.

And hey pizza doesn't sound bad.
This is only thing i can think of...

love the fact that your not a freshman anymore
Tell them if they don't learn they will end up with greasy hair, smelling of burgers, and repeatedly saying ';Would you like fries with that';
kick them in there heads well thats what my teacher used to do lol only joking i didnt take my education serusly and now im stuck in a dead end job god i wish i lisned in class

Just my opinion, drive safe and a cool person is cool in or out of a car.mascara

Tips on how to be a better saver. Have you an advice?
I would like to save 拢100 each month but I seem to struggle to save. I don't make too much money but my rent is cheap because I go half with my live-in b/friend. How can I be sure to put 拢100 aside? Do you think it's wise to open up a saving's account? I only have a checking/current account and I save money in there.Tips on how to be a better saver. Have you an advice?
1) Write a plan which tells you where you spend your money and what on- do this each week
2) stick to the plan
3) Open a savings account
4) If you over spend one week, then next week make sure you under spend
Tips on how to be a better saver. Have you an advice?
Best way I always found was to set up a standing order to another 'saving' account. Then 'pretend' it is some kind of bill.
That way you'll be encouraged to live to the standard of the money left in your main account.
This has the double bonus of building up an easily available 'back-up' if you get into difficulties and the basis to drive down your expectations of 'standard of living'
My main advice would be to not get too bogged down with saving a fortune and don't tie yourself into a savings account that has penalties for withdrawals.
Once you get into the habit you can adjust how much you save to suit your purposes.
I am great at saving but I am not sure what advice I might give as to me it's all about common sense stuff, like 2+2 = 4.
Or, go to the shop on the left, pay 3 go to the shop on right pay 4, if you want to save, which shop do you go, left or right?
I'd have to see where and how you spend your money to see if I could improve your spendings.. Like, do you live your lights and TV on downstairs while you sleep at night? Are they 130Watts lightbulbs as well? Do you live the air conditioning on while you go to work?
Simple stuff like that, some people need to be told, I am not sure why they need to be told.
But I don't understand why some people hate credit cards or why some others *need* to borrow 拢25.000 to buy a new car when something just as functional can be bought second hand for 拢2000 cash. Etc etc etc
What do you do for food? That's where I can usually catch most people out and it's slightly too long to start educating someone on food lol.
you could also invest in a mutual fund and keep putting money into that
and in a few years you would have gained a lot of interest from it.
so you would be saving money and making it grow at the same time.
just a thought =)
well you see where this 拢100 keeps going everymonth and you do less of where it is going if that makes sense. And just put the money in a bank account. You got to be strict with yourself if you want to save money!
I would just say think about the things you are buying and decide if you really need it, if not put the same amount of money that it costs in to your saving jar. Good luck :)

Open up a separate account and have the money you want to save get transferred without you touching it it can be done if you are strict with yourself.Good luck
Just put away 拢25 a week into a little tub and keep it closed and save it all
Who said stop spending it.

What is the best advice dad ever gave you?
I know this has been asked so many times but since it's fathers day I think it important.
So what is the best piece of advice your dad ever gave you that you will pass onto your children?
As for my dad he always taught us to stand on our own two feet and told us to stick up for ourselves no matter the consequences...
and the one that will always stick
your riches aren't in your pocket...the greatest riches are in your family, friends and health and never take them for granted for they will be gone somedayWhat is the best advice dad ever gave you?
Happy wife, happy life! What is the best advice dad ever gave you?
My dad always said ';if you can hold your head up high, in the face of defeat, then you obviously didn't use enough energy on the game.'; It always had two meanings for me, 1: give everything you've got, all the time. and 2: It's ok to be upset when you lose, It's those times of reflection that you learn the most. It's true when you think about it, you never think about why you won the game, but you can't stop thinking about why you lost it.
Right On Shorty!!!...You took the words out of my mouth...My dad said the same thing....He made it very clear...Don't come home pregnant and don't call home if you get arrested for doing something illegal!!!...He towed the hard line and it worked....THANKS DAD....I LOVE YOU!!!!
';if someone ever tries to kidnap you, you have my permission to kick him in the balls. or yell ';fire';
Haha, best advice EVAH!!!
My dad always told me if I wasn't in bed by 11:00, just come on home!
he said ';don't get pregnant or your out of my house';...thankx dad
Don't ever cry over a man...dam is he right.!

Could you give me advice on fixing my network/internet connection on my other computer?
On my PC, I can not access the internet because of a local area connection. I opened all the networks, and it says the internet is plugged in, but a network cable is unplugged. I have no clue what that is. It says it is an intel pro/100 VE network connection. Does that mean there is a loose wire somewhere? How do I get my internet back? Any help will be MUCH appreciated. Thank you so much!!!Could you give me advice on fixing my network/internet connection on my other computer?
The message that you are getting may not be referring to an actual hardware issue, but instead a software problem. The Intel Pro is your Ethernet Controller Adapter driver and yours may just be ';corrupted.'; Simply uninstall it and then reboot your computer. With Windows XP when your computer reboots it will auto-detect the NIC and then reinstall the driver. Contact me if you need further assistance.
Hope this helps!Could you give me advice on fixing my network/internet connection on my other computer?
Check all your physical connections
The network cable is the one that looks like a phone one, but its slightly wider, that is the connection that it is saying is unplugged. It could be unplugged at your computer, or the router / modem, or the router could be turned off. Or you could simply have a bad cable.
Your network cable is your enthernet cable ruunning from the modem to the computer check that first then if the modem is connected by the usb rerun the cd that came with the modem also check in your device maniger that your computer is reading the network ports and lastly u might just need a new enther port.

Id like to either become a Doctor or a Meteorologist what advice can you give me to become one of the two?
pick which one you know most about to give your answerId like to either become a Doctor or a Meteorologist what advice can you give me to become one of the two?
Being and having a MD is a lot more work, not only with school, but also after your academic life. A doctor is a much more demanding career than being a meteorologist. Meteorology is an interesting subject to pursue, but often isn't consider a real profession.mascara

Don't go to bed mad
You wouldn't worry so much about what people think of you if you knew how rarely they really do
Don't judge the parenting skills of or lack there of until you have children of your own
Be positive and thank God every day for the blessings in your life because you never know when you may lose them-also that God never gives us more than we can handle
I honestly don't think i've ever received advise from anyone.
I've told someone that life is like a game of snakes and ladders... Make the right move and you'll continue to push forwards, but if you make the wrong move, you'll only full back to where you were before.
To over come the odds/obsticles, you must always push forwards and never look back.
Amen to Angus! That one is VERY true.
The one that has affected me the most is...
';No one can make you feel inferior or badly about yourself unless you ALLOW them to.';
That one quote made life a whole lot happier for me and has served me well over the years.
Peace to you ...
Do what you wanna do, and figure it all out by yourself, wether right or wrong.
Otherwise, your whole life will be spent blaming other people.

I honestly don't think i've ever received advise from anyone.
I've told someone that life is like a game of snakes and ladders... Make the right move and you'll continue to push forwards, but if you make the wrong move, you'll only full back to where you were before.
To over come the odds/obsticles, you must always push forwards and never look back.

break a legI have my first theater audtion saturday do you guys have any advice for me?
Be the best you that you can be!! Break a leg!
Don't be afraid to try ANYTHING. Take risks--you'll stand out, and even if you do something the director doesn't necessarily like, they'll admire your initiative. Also, if the director gives you direction, TAKE IT. They're specifically testing to see how you can handle it. Also, make sure you feel relaxed--don't be stiff, but don't over-gesture. Most importantly, DON'T be yourself. You're acting, so make sure you make a definitive choice to be the character.
What everyone else says is true, but in addition, just have a good time. Don't stress overmuch about it. And don't play any ';head games'; with the other actors to try to screw them up. Just remember that if you don't get in this show, there's another one auditioning soon that you will get in
Do a few relaxation excerises before you go on, trust your rehearsal process and follow your impulses. Make sure that that you know the basics (who, what , when, where, how, why)
and have fun. A positive mental attitude takes you a long way.
Break a leg.
1.Be as prepared as you can be.
2. Do your best.
3. Be truthful with yourself about whether you are able to do what you are trying to accomplish - If you know you can, go ahead, and try something more suited to your talents if you cannot.
4. Take constructive criticism seriously, but ignore any response which is nothing more than ';I don't like that'; or ';That's not the way I would do it.';
5. Be confident before, during and after your performance.
6. Be ready to try again until you get what you want.
Makre sure you eat light before the audition, also do some intense excersize the day before so you look cut. Looks may not be everything, but they certainly mean alot onstage.
always look over the last row
loud voice, but not screaming
don't look nervous..
try some voices exercises before so ur voice is good
and take directions..
look your best, people say looks don't matter, but trust me it does... and trust me, even the ugliest person can be pretty if they try...
breath hard and count to 10 before and u r good to go
Try not to be too nervous. They can always tell if you are.
Have a lot of fun! They want really fun people, but also people who can focus easily.
They want people who have a good attitude. If the cast has a good attitude, it makes a good show with a lot of chemistry between characters.
Just have a good time and don't be nervous. Good luck!
Be your Fabulous self!

How many of you can relate to this and give me some advice?
Okay this is going to sound weird...but how many of you have got intimate with someone and felt something there? Something more powerful than just sex. Like a connection of some sort? See i'm still not sure what that feeling is and they're not either. We've talked about it and now when i see them like even if we just chill i feel it and my heart beats fast. I know it's weird but please help me out here i really don't know what's going on and i'd really like to. What is that feeling???How many of you can relate to this and give me some advice?
it doesnt sound weird at all...
well you got intimate with this person and you felt something there... it sounds to me like love...
when your jst sitting there with that person nd you cant stop smiling wen your looking at them or ur heart is racing by just chilling...there is definitely something ther...
so wat i think is...you 2 should get together...nd try it out... in the end... you guys will be good to go cuz that feeling is gonna stick :)How many of you can relate to this and give me some advice?
thanks for answering mine!
um, it sounds like you might love him. I would get to know a lot more about him and try to get a little closer emotionally bit by bit. If it seems to be going somewhere, maybe you guys can start dating. I hope that helps.
i get the same feeling with the guy im trying to get over so ive wondered the same thing!!! i guess it depends on how well you know the person; lust or love is for sure what your feeling
you love him. you two aren't going out? you should.
HUn thats Love right there ,
love or lust! that happened with who is now....my husband !
See if the feeling last after a few months and you get to know eachother very well. Do not get pregnant. THe initial excitement will go away, see what is left after that. Ask this person about personal beliefs. Get them to spend time with your parents and grandparents. They can see things that you can not. Puppy love and love is blind, VERY VERY blind..you can't see the real person.
There was only one person that got me so excited that my heart would beat very fast, just by being in the same room with them. We were both married to differnt people so we never started a relationship. I had my own oblgations and children and so did she.
There was another woman I was with that we were good friends and we loved being with eachother and we helped eachother out. Often I think I should have married her. I had a hang up about our age difference. I was too young to know that the vast majority of people never get a relationship like ours.

From your experience, what advice would you give to a University graduate going out into the working world?
(As it pertains to Engineering)From your experience, what advice would you give to a University graduate going out into the working world?
Now that you have your degree, the best thing you can do right now is temporarily drop everything you learned in college and travel the world. (if that's practical)
Worldly knowledge and experience of other cultures is something that will forever be in your memory. Do it while you're young, because you can return to college at a later date if you want to undertake any post graduate studies. I would suggest a max of 3-5 years. Education in life is what you learn AFTER you complete formal schooling. From your experience, what advice would you give to a University graduate going out into the working world?
The fundamental difference between university and the real world is as follows. At university, problem sets/exams etc. either have the correct amount of information or just a bit less than required. In the real world, you will have too much information. The skill is being able to winnow out the irrelevant and concentrate on what you need.
To not take **** from managers who have no engineering background! They act like God divinely chose them for the project they're on (they get punched a lot, the nasty ones that is).

Navy advice? What would you give advice would you give to a person wanting to maybe join the Navy?
I am 22 years old and I will be going to MEPS Friday May 17 and taking the computer genterrated asvab and getting physically quailified. I am in need of advive or anything that you think would be benefical to me. Thank You.
MatthewNavy advice? What would you give advice would you give to a person wanting to maybe join the Navy?
Make sure you can pass a drug screen. I know you have commented before that your dad smokes weed and insist that you do as well. Aside from the, be sharp. You have illustrated time and again on YA that you have mental capabilities, use them. As you may recall my two sons chose the Army, but whatever the choice you are about to embark upon an adventure where you will see some difficult times, but you will never regret having gone through them because the rewards are far greater. Matthew, I have wondered about you these last few weeks and am excited for you to learn of your plans. You will be in my thoughts and I wish you only the very best of luck.
PS: You say Friday, May 17. Better double check that because May 17 is on a Saturday.Navy advice? What would you give advice would you give to a person wanting to maybe join the Navy?
my friend's brother joined the navy and they have to do like a certain time limit during training for running on beaches doing training missions and other fun stuff! You would want to be really atheletic thats a no brainer. Always smarts, good senses like sight and hearing two fantastic senses all should have, and also if you had good marksmenship thats also a no brainer those are just good things to have!!
I would say ';NO, join the Marines!';. haha. (Marine Poolie. I leave for basic sometime this fall/winter). Just relax during the asvab and have a good time.
Here is a quote by Henry Kissinger.
';Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy.';mascara

What's the best advice you can give about internet dating sites?
I'm looking for some good, solid advice. What are the pitfalls? What are the pleasant surprises.
I would like to hear from people who have personal experience. Not from someone just mouthing off a bunch of judgemental stuff and have not even tried it.What's the best advice you can give about internet dating sites?
Always be aware that a profile might be a hoax. Anybody can put up a picture of a model, or use Photoshop, to look like someone else or to look better. Of course it's just a lie.
Never share your phone number, address, and any bank account information.
Sometimes men from other (usually poor) countries will only pretend to like you just so they can get a visa, money, or whatever to get to the USA or Canada.
Also, some men online actually already have girlfriends or wives, so be aware of this as well. They just want sex and not a serious relationship.
In addition to that, if you want a serious relationship, don't post bikini shots of yourself, or you wearing very revealing outfits, because that will invite men who want sex and sex only. What's the best advice you can give about internet dating sites?
Watch out for the ';too good to be true'; pages. That is a person who seems to be too perfect in a sense. Many dating sites are littered with scam profiles. Most dating sites try to filter them out, but are not always successful. For example, if you contact a person who says they are from Russia, run. Russia and some other countries are banned from American dating sites because a lot of them set up sites and try to hook particular people with the goal of you sending them money for a ';visa'; so they can come visit you. But when you send them money, you never hear from them again.
Another dead giveaway is when you begin to talk to them through email or messaging, is that their comments are very vague, cut and paste type, heavily misspelled, bad grammar and they want to flatter the heck out of you right away.
In short, just use wisdom and good judgment on who you talk to and what information you give. I have been on several dating sites over the years and have found scams, but on the other hand, I have talked to some very nice girls. Just filter out people yourself by seeing what they are all about and if you'd really like to talk to them.
The positive side is that you have an opportunity to expand your search in meeting potential partners and improve your chance for finding a life partner. You can seek out people who have the same life goals and interests. You can control when and if you meet someone face-to-face. You can start off with email, move to a phone call, and then meet in a public place for a quick cup of coffee before deciding whether you want to go on an official date. Of course, you have to be very careful to avoid any scammers or control freaks (easy to spot because they'll claim to fall in love with you immediately). And, as is always true in searching for love, you have to open your heart up to heartache. But it beats meeting people in a bar!

What is the best advice you can give your daughter about starting a relationship?
Most fathers are very concerned who the future husband his daughter will eventually marry. A relationship is a committment which may eventually end in marriage. I have seen so many disasterous marriages as a result of the background and attitude of a boyfriend. What is the best advice you can give your daughter about starting a relationship?
it is great you want to talk to your daughter about this, i wish my dad would have. --one thing your daughter should keep in mind is to always be herself, sometimes especially when we are young we forget this. if she is raised with respect to herself and others, she will make good decisions when it comes to relationships, drugs, you name it.What is the best advice you can give your daughter about starting a relationship?
Very good answer. I agree.
Know yourself. Live intentionally. Be honest (with yourself first, then others). Communicate. Learn what it is that means 'love' to your partner. Tell them what you perceive as well. Forgive (both). Relationships are not 50/50, they're 100/100 (but never lose yourself in the process).
Take everything slowly. Find common goals in what they want out of life and careers. don't rush into sex. think honestly and clearly.
First dad, you can't judge a book by it's cover, my husband...who is a wonderful husband and soon to be an excellent father...was an idiot as a boyfriend. People grow up and people change.
Second, I think the best and most important thing you can teach your daughter...is to remember herself.
Alot of times women give themselves 100% to the relationship and they sacrifice their individuality and their opinions and their autonomy to conform to the relationship.
Just teach her that relationships require loyalty and devotion and faith..but first and foremost, she has to remember that she needs to preserve her loyalty and devotion and faith in HERSELF first.
Two individual parts come together and evolve together to form a successful relationship...be leary of those that want her to conform into something she's not. Her mate should love her for who she is and what she can teach him..not for what he thinks he can make her.
Take things one step at a time and at your own pace. Don't ever do anything that you will regret and are not ready for. Most of all trust yourself. Tell her is she can not tell you about it then chances are she should not be doing it. Tell her to think about what she does and whom she sees because some guys are jerks. See how they treat there friends before committing to them. Just follow your heart and let you conshounce be your guide. Good luck.
be true to yourself, follow your gut insticts and don't back down on your beliefs, goals and wants. If the relationship does not feel right then leave

Go slow - real love takes time.
It's not about romance and passion, it's about him being there when you're sick as a dog and making sure you get the care you need.
And if he tells you you're fat or stupid or lazy, call your dad immediately. And Dad, don't ask what went wrong - just be there for her, no matter what.

Do you have any advice for taking the road test to get my license in Massachusetts?
Im takin my ROAD test Friday and i was just wondering if anyone that has taken it RECENTLY has any good advice...
also do you have to go inside and wait in the line before you take it or do you just pull up to the back door and they come to you??Do you have any advice for taking the road test to get my license in Massachusetts?
You have to go in and let them know you are there. Be sure you have proof of insurance and registration. Be sure all your signals and lights are working on the car, or you'll have to reschedule. Be sure you know how to back up along a curb! I failed that the first time around. They dont test us on parallel parking in my area of california, but be sure to know if they test you on that. And if you fail the first time, dont cry like I did. It's okay... and 2 weeks isnt that long to wait to try again.

I'm in college right now..a full time student, majoring in psychology and counseling for the chemically dependent. My view is, unless someone meets the qualifications of a psychologist, they likely are not ';experts'; in the field of psychology. Most people writing in answers in this forum are not even students of psychology. They are just people like me who are trying to help others with what knowledge they do have. And we have a responsibility to be very careful about what we say. People's lives could depend on it. I think it's important for people to understand that most of us are not experts, and when it concerns questions of great importance about psychological health, one should consult an expert. And getting a second or third opinion doesn't hurt, either.
I've worked for a major airline for almost 14 years...
So I'm an expert on anal retentive, namby-pamby travelers who expect to be pampered, consoled, and treated like royalty whenever there are normal delays or cancellations...
Give it up, people...the reason your bags were lost is that you arrived at the airport ';way'; too late...(and the reason there are delays and cancellations is...
We'd rather you be delayed or cancelled, and miss your wedding, meeting, or graduation rather than...
Kill you...
(so stop complaining...there's a certain amount of ';instrinsic'; discomfort and hassles involved with flying through the air at 500 miles an hour in a cigar-shaped aluminum tube resting on a giant wing, while you're crammed together in a tiny space with hundreds of other strangers...get used to it...!!!)
'Resident Cool Guy'
it is not my proffesion yet but i want to be a therapist and yes i would give advice on here
In where I am lacking in a degree I make up for in experience. I did pass the initial radiology courses but I usualy don't need that information for a pyscology question. I have grown up with people with serious mental problems and I have also had my share of obsticles to overcome. I wasn't taught about the pyscological medications and problems, I personally have tried them and participated in programs and therapy inpaitient and out patient. After I realized how much time I was wasting with no signs of recovery decided that I would have to heal myself and I did. The professionals may have gone to school but do they actually know how it feels to be so depressed that you don't want to continue living, resorted to self harm to ease the pain, or have been perscribed almost every medication and know what the side effects feel like? I think inorder to be able to relate to someone well enough to help that person to untangle the knots of misconceptions that torment you causeing all the disorders they like to label people with by someone who knows and who has actually been through it all and can tell someone how to help themselves to overcome what is hurting them.
I hope I have not offended anyone I am not saying professionals are not good people or they are without good intentions, but this is my oppinion based on my experiences. I have had about six different diagnosises and haven't taken medications for years I have completly turned my life around and I know everyone can improve themselves if they want to and like me mostly just need to realize that they can.
