What is the best advice ever another family member ever gave you?

what is the advice and by whom.. for me the best advice my grandfather john czuk ever told his llittle princess was the following.1.it is one's hobbies that can pay, off in life...i will always love him ,and miss him more than ever. especially right now in life...thank you grand father john theordore czuk...What is the best advice ever another family member ever gave you?
my dad told once that no matter who you are or what you do, you should always know where you stand.


and i know that seems like such a simple statement...nothing special.


but to me that means a lot because a lot of people don't really know where they stand, they just do things without ever thinking and never really knowing who their true friends are and such.


so yeah its helped keep my feet on the ground and my head out of the clouds.What is the best advice ever another family member ever gave you?
I have this uncle out in LA and he doesn't have any children or anything and has no clue how to handle teenage girls. And I saw him a couple years back and decided to visit. He took my older sister and I out for the night and brought us back to another relative home we were staying...and finally we said our goodbyes and you know what he told me?! He said be good, stay in school, work hard...or I'll kick your ***! LOL. It was funny at that moment but I get what he wanted for us and that was just to live our lives and respect ourselves and to work hard because my family has gone through so much. I love my uncle and even though he's not good with words...this was probably the most memorable advice I have ever gotten.
