Christians: what advice would you give to the seed that fell among thorns?

someone who lets say has a ';favorite sin'; that he can't stop committing, knowing that God's angry at him.....

how can he overcome?Christians: what advice would you give to the seed that fell among thorns?
As always, persevere through faith in God and His Word.

1Cr 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

Jam 1:12 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.Christians: what advice would you give to the seed that fell among thorns?
God is not angry at one who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus died to pay for every sin, including the ones that trip us up time and again.

I would say to that person, keep praying to God for strength and to overcome, He is faithful.

Edit: you say if you pray and still fall, what are you missing? obedience. you still have a choice, whether to commit that sin.....or not.
With the support of other Christian believers......they need to do everything they can to remove themselves from the weeds....and plant themselves amongst the Good...Find someone to hold them accountable...

God is not angry at you......He wants to help you....We as believers are to uphold each other through the good and the bad times in our live........:)
God isn't angry at you.

All saved believers are still sinners.

Maybe some errant ';preacher'; told you God is angry, but I assure you, He is not.

If you believe in Jesus alone for salvation, then you are forgiven all sins past, present, and future. Stand on that forgiveness, and ask Jesus for more of Himself in your life, more intimacy with Jesus, and the sin will lose its strangehold slowly but surely.
PRAY....PRAY...and PRAY!! and im pretty certain God does get angry!

God is a merciful God but also a consuming fire!
change.

especially now that obama is here, we can all have change we can believe in!
pray and ask God to help you. God will judge you on your heart. He always forgives. Just talk to him.
God's not angry. Pray and do yyour best. That is all that is required.
Pray to be picked up and placed on the good ground! Amen!

Whatever we ask Jesus in his name he will do; nothing is too hard for him.

God Bless
Admit defeat and turn it over. Pray for strength.
Be a good example.
Change Gods
