Use travlers checks and don't drink the water.What is the best travel advice you've ever heard?
Have lots of fun and take lots of pictures. Always lock your luggage. Wear a money belt so travellers cheques don't get stolen and other important info.What is the best travel advice you've ever heard?
ACT LIKE THE NATIVES, AND ';WHEN IN ROME, DO AS THE ROMANS';
Make a comprehensive packing list - everything from what you will carry on (purse, briefcase) %26amp; their contents (wallet, tickets, iPod, etc.) %26amp; your check-in bag (pair black pants, pair jeans, 6 prs underwear, chargers, etc.). Leave copies in your suitcase %26amp; check everything off before you leave your hotel. Also, if you're travelling w/someone, each one puts a change of clothing in the other's suitcase in case one of the suitcases misses its flight.
Pack very light, visit small towns, meet people, never pass up a place to pee.
Go either First Class or Economy Class, but never Second Class. In First, you have luxury. In Economy, you have fun. In Second, you have neither.

And pee before you go.

Don't let anyone know you're an American...Say you're from Canada!
Take twice the money, and half the clothes!
Tim F has this one 100%.!
-Fed Ex your luggage to your hotel room. It saves you so much time at the airport. That way you don't have to check in any luggage, you don't have to haul it through the airport, you don't have to wait for it in arrivals, and it will be waiting for you when you get to your room!

-Always hide your money in at least two different locations.

-If you decide on not shipping your luggage...Pack what you can carry!

-Pack an extra set of essentials on a carry on just in case they lose your luggage.

-Take lots of pictures!
