Its running EXTREMELY SLOW. To even boot up has taken over an hour. Nothing seems to want to respond. My only guess is a trojan or something equally as vile. Is there a way to utilize my laptop to upload a vaccine or something. I'm not able to bring up the net with it right now. I even have the laptop modemed with my cell to contact you. Any suggestions?Laptop seems to have caught something. Can you offer some advice?
Restart the system and as it is booting before the windows screen displays tap F8 about once per second to bring up the advanced startup menu. ';Start the system in safemode with networking'; You will be able to get online while in safemode. Open a browser and download ad-aware and avg 8.0 from download.com. Once the downloads are complete restart into normal mode, install avg and ad-aware, update fully and run a full system scan with both utilities to clean any potential malware from your system. This should take care of the majority of the problems that you are having, if not, reply and I will give more guidance.

take your time to scan your computer no matter how long it takes
re-install your operating system with full deleting all the files in it
