What's the best advice you have for someone new to Yahool Answers?

Hi there. The best advice that I have for you is to follow the Community Guidelines. When you are Level 1, your questions and answers are much easier to be removed by someone who reports your questions or answers, so make sure that every single answer and question that you put onto Yahoo! Answers follows the CGs, and you'll be fine.

It is a good forum to get some really good info. You receive points for answering questions it cost you points asking questions. Points really do not mean anything except going to the next level and bragging rights. Make sure you read the guidelines and try to stay with in them because if you don't you will get a violation and your account can be deleted. Don't take a lot of it serious on here because you will see all kinds of questions and answers on here. You can not be sensitive because some people on here can be very rude. Make your Questions/Answers/Network Private.


Block Emails and IM





Do not take this site seriously.
Do not take everything you see seriously.
Remember it's an entertainment activity. Don't spend a bunch of time here.
