Can you recommend and good advice for getting through a marriage?

I am married to a wonderful man and I know he loves me and I love him but I just don't know how to be a good wife. I think its because I just don't know how, I never really had any good role models for marriage. My mom was only married once in my life and that was to a jerk. The best thing I can recommend is communication. Talk to him. Ask him what he wants you to do to show that you love him.
